I Almost Named This Blog Post 'The End of the World'

I've never been good at introducing myself.

Usually, introducing myself culminates in a stammered sentence about my name (Isabel Vaughan) and the requisite-but-nevertheless-annoying fact about yourself (I have eight siblings).

this is an old picture... but I often feel it is the best representation of who I am.

But there's so much more to me.

So here I am, ready to pour the contents of my private and slightly scared mind into this blog. Because I think connection is important. And I'm excited to share myself with the world. My thoughts, ideas, questions, experiences.
